The games I enjoy the most are turn-based ones. I’m already at a certain age (56 years old), and I don’t do well with fast-paced real-time games that require quick reflexes and a lot of maneuvering to dodge, roll, or counterattack. Among turn-based games, I have a particular fondness for older ones, especially those in the style of isometric RPGs.

Lately, I’ve been looking for text-based games because I really enjoy reading and writing. One of the games I’ve loved the most in this category is "Roadwarden," a game that blends narrative text with strong RPG elements. In it, you play as a lone traveler tasked with exploring an unknown region and forging alliances to protect the territory.

"Roadwarden" is an excellent game that combines text, multiple choices, and tabletop RPG features like dice rolls, stat management, and subtle illustrations that weave the story together. So far, I haven’t found another game quite like it. That’s why I’m here—ROK II caught my attention because it seems to bring some of these elements.
